Soundwaves uses the personal information you provide to process your Dirty Disco booking, issue individual tickets and wallet passes, communicate important event information and safely manage the guest list.

Information we collect

We collect the purchaser’s name and email address, each ticket holder’s name and date of birth, booking and payment references, and ticket check-in information. Stripe processes payment card details; Soundwaves does not store full card numbers.

How we use and retain it

Information is used only to fulfil and administer the event, prevent ticket misuse, provide customer support and meet legal or accounting obligations. We retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Sharing and your rights

We share information only with providers needed to operate the booking, payment, email and digital-pass services. We do not sell personal information. You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, subject to our legal obligations.

Optional website analytics

If you allow analytics, our own server records a random visit reference, visit time and campaign labels from the link you followed. These help us measure visits, checkout starts, paid bookings and ticket revenue by social account and campaign. We do not add advertising pixels or store your IP address or full browsing URL in this analytics database. Operational server logs are separate.

Our analytics choice cookie lasts six months, the visit cookie lasts 30 minutes, and the attribution cookie lasts 30 days. We attribute a booking to the most recent tagged visit within that 30-day period on the same browser. Declining does not affect booking. You can withdraw permission using Cookie preferences; this clears the analytics identifiers on your browser and stops future collection. Historical records are not automatically erased by changing a cookie choice. Contact us about access or deletion. Detailed visit and booking attribution records are deleted after 180 days; this does not delete required booking or accounting records.

Social comments and song requests

We collect comments on our connected Facebook Pages and professional Instagram accounts to handle questions and song requests, prepare DJ shortlists and measure engagement. This includes the comment text, available public account name or identifier, comment and post references, timing, request notes, decisions and our reply history. Access is restricted to our private event administration area. We use this information to administer and promote the event and respond to people who engage with our posts. Detailed comment records are deleted after 180 days. You can request access, correction or deletion using the contact below. Replies are reviewed before publication and a song request is not a promise it will be played.
